If the drawing skips some letters such as G or I, you can set up the zone grid properties in DISCUS to exactly match your drawing. Open the zone / grid properties page and at he bottom field to exclude items, enter the letter or number to skip. For multiple skips, enter the value with a comma, such as G,I. Click OK and the zone letters excluded will not display on the drawing.
Once you have added a .txt file or CSV file to the DISCUS CMM module, click on the hyperlinked CMM Report Name and click the CMM Result Field tab. Enter the data for the fields and all this information will transfer globally to each and every CMM result line.
Access the DISCUS website and click Support and Instructional Videos. Log on and view many functional tips from creating a TDP, to ballooning, revisioning and OCR tips.

If you have the results module, you can create a custom field, such as Frequency or Operation Number. Here’s How:
In DISCUS Results, create a Custom field such as Op No and Frequency. Choose either text or defined list term. Note exactly how the entry is spelled included case.
Access your DISCUS Template via Tools and Profile Settings and find the path. Copy the path into your PC directory and then access Default and Templates. Open the AS9102 Template an create a column. Enter the Column Field Operation Number and the token is ${boc_OpNo}. This will be mapped to the DISCUS result data.

DISCUS Software has a new template for AS9103 and training how to customize DISCUS to export to this form. If you have Results, you can create custom fields such as Frequency and enter pre-defined values or free-form text values. Access the Default DISCUS template and create a new column, for example called Frequency. For the token enter ${boc_Frequency} and the data exports. For Operation Number, in DISCUS create a column called Op No and then in the Excel create a column called Operation Number, but the token is the same as you entered in DISCUS but remove any spaces (case sensitive).
${boc_OpNo}. Do this for any item you want to map from DISCUS to the form. If it’s simple, it’s DISCUS. If it is customizable and easy to use…it’s DISCUS. Contact rkeller@disussoftware.com for this new template.
