Copy Balloons on the Drawing Panel

To copy a balloon on the drawing panel that is identical, for example you want 3 balloons with the number 7 on the drawing panel, do the following:

  1. Right-click on the balloon you want to copy, in this case #7.
  2. Select Copy from the list.
  3. Click on the drawing or pages you want to paste this duplicate balloon.
  4. Right-click to select the duplicate number.
  5. To copy the data but wiht a unique number repeat the steps but select the unique number in the series instead of the duplicate number.

Copy BoC Data

  1. Balloon a characteristic. If this characteristic is identical to others, you can copy it in the BoC. For example, Balloon #3 is the information you want to copy.
  2. Balloon other items without identifying the data that are of the same values, for example balloons 12 and 14.
  3. Right-click the Balloon #3 in the CN in the BoC and click Copy.
  4. Click the empty balloon in the BoC 12 and right-click to select paste. Repeat for 14. The data from balloon #3 is copied to 12 and 14.

Create Custom Columns in DISCUS Results

If you want to enter specific information, such as Frequency Checking, here are the steps to do so.

  1. Locate the DISCUS Default AS9102 template in your DISCUS directory.
  2. Add a Columns such as Frequency Checking. Under that column enter the token. ${boc_FrequencyChecking}. Note that the entry is case sensitive and without spaces.
  3. Save your template.
  4. In DISCUS results, create a new field under Field Setup that matches the item Frequency Checking. Make sure this is in the results tab BoC item.
  5. In the results tab, enter the new data.
  6. Export to Excel to the default template you just modified. The data from DISCUS from this new column displays.
