DISCUS Results Warns of a Lack of Precision

If you enter a requirement of 1.240 -1.2678 and enter a result value with less precision, such as 1.24, DISCUS will flag this as a failure. If you mouse over the red X, the error message will warn you that you lack sufficient precision. If you expport this to the Results Status template, the icon will display as a ? further warning you that you need to enter more values after the decimal. You can be more precise in the result, not less.

Balloon a Specification

To balloon a specification in DISCUS, add the spec to the right-hand section panel. Balloon a parent item on the drawing and when balloon the spec, select the parent item, such as Balloon #2 to which the spec is associated. In the spec window click a green rectangle tool item at the top that is used to balloon a spec. The ballooned spec then would be 2.1 in this example.

Enlarge Size of Images upon Export to Excel

If you want the images to appear larger (or smaller), you can globally change the size. Click Drawing and Snap Requirement Image options, and then click the Scale. Increase or decrease the size and export. After you view the data, you may want to adjust the size more or less via the same steps.
