Replace Drawings for New Revision

Home 04/2/2010 | Category: Tips
  1. To replace a drawing for a new revision, for examaple, click File and Replace Drawing.
  2. Browse for the drawing to replace and add.
  3. If this is a new revision drawing, click File and TDP Properties and enter the proper revision.
  4. Save As and enter the new drawing name and revision.

Note: New Revision (File | New Revision) function locks the ballloons so if you delete a characteristic, it is forever deleted. Replace drawings is a more flexible way to rev up! If you don’t believe me, click New Revision and read the long warning message. (Replace Drawings is the preferred method, for this reason.)

When New Drawing Revision is used, it deletes all notes and resets the Zone Grid Properties. Does the Replace Drawing do the same?
