Tip #4 – Export/Import Equipment Lists
10/15/2009 | Category: Tips With DISCUS Results, you can create equipment lists, such as designed tooling, FAI and Production equipment lists, export the list to your network and have colleagues import this list so everyone is on the same page!
- Create the lists in Results, by clicking Field Setup.
- Select the category of Equipment, for example, Designed Tool and add the items to be displayed in the Results drop-down list.
- When complete, click Results and Export Results Settings. Save this zipped file to your network.
- To import, click Results and select Import Results Settings. Browse for the saved file.
- Once located, click OK to import the settings.
This doesn’t work for all of us. Some of my coworkers are able to do this, but others try to import and nothing happens. It does say the import was complete, but the list does not acutally appear.
